# Winter Co Standing Orders As members of The Abyssal Requiem, we fly alongside **Winter Coalition (Winter Co)**. When operating in coalition space or joining coalition fleets, you are not just representing yourself—you are representing the ARQM ticker. Adherence to Winter Co standing orders is mandatory. Violating coalition rules, especially regarding diplomacy or capital ship usage, can result in immediate expulsion from the corporation. --- ## Coalition Auth & Comms To participate in Winter Co operations and access their staging services, you must be registered on the coalition-level Auth system. 1. **Register:** Log into the **[https://auth.wintercoalition.space/dashboard/]** using your EVE SSO. 2. **Add Alts:** Just like our internal auth, ALL characters must be registered. 3. **Mumble Setup:** You must configure the Winter Co Mumble server. Use the same Push-To-Talk settings outlined in our [[Comms & Services Setup]] guide. **Hot-mics on coalition comms are strictly forbidden.** --- ## Rules of Engagement (ROE) Winter Co operates under a strict **NBSI** (Not Blue, Shoot It) policy. * **Blue / Light Blue:** Friendly. Do not shoot, do not tackle, do not bump, and do not steal their loot/salvage. * **Purple:** Fleet members. Friendly. * **Grey (Neutral):** Hostile. Shoot on sight. * **Red / Orange:** Hostile. Shoot on sight. > **Always Check Standings!** If a neutral jumps into the system, double-check your overview. If you are unsure if someone is blue, do not shoot first. A blue-on-blue incident causes massive diplomatic headaches. ### Blue-on-Blue Incidents If you accidentally shoot a blue, or if a blue shoots you: 1. **Cease Fire Immediately.** 2. **Do Not Retaliate.** Even if they keep shooting, die gracefully. Retaliation makes diplomacy impossible. 3. Save the chat logs and the killmail/lossmail. 4. Report the incident to an ARQM Director or Diplomat immediately. (See [[Blue Standing Etiquette]] for more details). --- ## Intel & Standing Fleets When you are in Winter Co space—whether you are ratting, mining, or just traveling—you must be in the Standing Fleet and the designated Intel channel. * **Standing Fleet:** Always be in the standing fleet. It allows you to warp to cynos, receive emergency reps, and share warp-ins with the standing response team. * **Intel Channels:** Keep the local Intel channel open and separate from your main chat. * **Reporting:** Report hostiles clearly and concisely. **Format: `[System Name] - [Character Name] - [Ship Type] - [Direction (optional)]`**. * *(For a full breakdown on how to use reporting tools, see [[Intel Channels & Reporting]])*. --- ## Strategic Operations & Stratops When a Winter Co strategic ping goes out, it takes precedence over normal activities. * **Comms Discipline:** Coalition comms often have 200+ people in them. **Do not speak on command comms.** Only FCs, scouts, and cyno pilots should be talking. * **Follow Orders:** Fly the exact fit requested. Anchor up, keep your prop mod on (or off) as instructed, and broadcast for reps correctly. * **Do Not Feed:** Do not warp yourself to zero on a hostile fleet. Follow the FC's fleet warps. --- *If you have questions about coalition policies, ask an ARQM Director before taking action.*
